This place is amazing, great food and great service! Love that they are a nonprofit organization. The salads, sandwiches, and chocolate bourbon pecan pie were delicious! Our server, Cierra, and the rest of the staff were amazing! Definitely would come again for the food and to show support for their organization!

Our lunch at Hugs was delightful, thanks to the warm greeting from the friendly staff. They explained their mission and how they aim to make a positive impact in our community. The sandwich and salad were scrumptious, and the price of $13 was fair.
Have you tried Hugs? If not, please support this local non-profit.

We have had Saturday lunch at Hugs Cafe for a number of times. Love the sandwiches with their house jams the best (both peach chutney and cherry almond jam are amazing). Highly recommend the Saturday special Monte Cristo. Soups and salads are all great. Almost cannot go wrong with anything here.
Super efficient and friendly staff.
It is more than a beloved neighborhood cafe. They are fully committed to their mission to provide training and employment to those with disabilities.

This is my first time here. The staff has been helpful and friendly since I walked into the door. I ordered the Greek Salad and it is super tasty and they even added a little "hug" to my plate. Highly recommend!

The employees are very nice and welcoming. I got to meet and speak to a few employees and they were very kind. I got the BLT with avocado on sourdough and it was yummy. Everything is very clean inside and the atmosphere is nice. Definitely recommend!

Had a wonderful lunch today. I had the Katie Bell - wow so very delicious and served up with cup of tomato basil soup. This place is good not just with food, but also for everything it stands for!!! Hugs to all there. Thank you Blaine for being so bright and cheery!

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. I did not know about Hugs' business plan of hiring and supporting adults with different abilities, and I fell in love with the place. My family was in town for a wedding, so we don't live in the area, but if we return to McKinney, we will definitely go back to Hugs!
The coffee was outstanding!

My office helped Hug's decorate their float for the McKinney parade and it was such a gratifying experience. We all then went to have some lunch and if you have not been at Hug's; come out to McKinney and check them out. They are such caring heartfelt people tha love what they do and just really do an incredible job.
Thank you Hug's for making a difference in people's lives and continue to make a impact in the community.

What a great morning. We beat the crowd to have a nice breakfast and even better company. The staff were lovely, kind and thoughtful. The concept is wonderful. I would certainly go back.

It was almost 1:30 in the afternoon I went to Hugs. I had never been there and I just happened to be in the area for an appointment. They had some customers inside and some at sidewalk tables outside, but it was quiet and not crowded. "The Classic" seemed likely to be one of the healthier options, a turkey sandwich with everything on it, and a choice of a side item. I found the sandwich and their potato salad to be delicious, reasonably priced, and I was greeted and served by very friendly and helpful staff, who were ready to go the extra mile to make my visit enjoyable. Hugs employs outstanding workers who have special needs. The proceeds help support this non-profit enterprise and provide training for those who have extra challenges as they enter the work force. So glad I stopped in. I will be back!
